You will be surprised to know that YNWA has now been going since May 2002! Many of you joined us from the start but we have also acquired new contributors to the site during our time and you are all very welcome. This site was created with the purpose of being informative and bringing together Liverpool fans around the world to participate in reasoned debate about the good and the bad of our team. We've also welcomed supporters from other clubs because a different perspective is always welcome, even if they are severely outnumbered.

During our time we have, with your support, contributed to many good causes which we support and we thank you for that. The HJC, Broad Green Hospital and more recently the Ray Kennedy PC Appeal have benefited from your generosity and we intend to continue supporting these causes in the future. Over our time the site has entirely been funded out of our own pockets and whilst we choose to make this contribution, the growth of the site and our plans for the future means that we have to find ways of raising money to meet our running costs. We have no aspirations of driving flash cars on the proceeds although at one weak moment we did talk about getting a box at Anfield but at this rate it may not be until the 23rd Century.

We have agreed among the owners that we will continue to cover our basic monthly costs for running the site but in order to continue developing the site, we need to raise more funds and whilst we have tried various banner related schemes this has failed to generate any real income.

So we are announcing a new YNWA Sponsorship scheme which will enable each of our members to make a small contribution to the site and their support will be evident by the use of "Sponsor" as their group name.

You are not obliged to contribute and those who do contribute will not get access to any additional content - the news, as well as other content provided by the site, will continue to be free for all to see.

We may, at some stage, provide additional features to sponsors in return for their support but at this stage we hope you will regard your contribution as a gesture of support. You are free to contribute whatever you want, should you wish to do so.
